We offset our carbon footprint via Offset.Earth. We plant one tree for every pack of tea sold via our website which makes us a carbon negative business.

Our 100g packs of loose leaf tea come in a PE lined Kraft standup paper pouch with resealable zip lock which helps to lock-in freshness. All tea has a minimum shelf life of 12-18 months. Our packaging is from a sustainable source and fully recyclable.

We are currently in the process of changing our 100g packaging over to compostable starch lined paper pouches with zip lock which are 100% plastic free and environmentally friendly - all pouches with windows are being phased out and will be fully changed over to plastic-free packaging by mid 2021.

Our large 500g foil packs are vacuum packed and nitrogen flushed for ultimate freshness. Once opened, it will need to be stored in an airtight jar, caddy or container. Alternatively, roll up the bag and clip it closed with a washing peg.

2018 - “Lively, fresh aroma to the leaves, refreshing peppermint. Lovely golden colour and clear. The flavour has a really powerful, clean peppermint hit, which is very refreshing and enlivening. A lasting, fresh flavour which has no dryness. The judges loved the strength of the peppermint and thought it delivered on its 'zing'”

2016 - "A vibrantly fresh aroma from the mint, which has not been overly milled. The peppermint infusion is aromatic and has a punch that you rarely find. This delivers everything that a lover of peppermint tea would ask for. This is a pure honest tea with a complex and lingering aftertaste."

2017 - "A delightfully vibrant green-gold colour to the infusion, along with good, spicy pungency on the nose. There's a pleasant mint attack here, though without overmuch tingle. This is a satisfying infusion, if not quite as exciting and bright as we'd hope for."
