We offset our carbon footprint via Offset.Earth. We plant one tree for every pack of tea sold via our website which makes us a carbon negative business.

Our 100g packs of loose leaf tea come in a PE lined Kraft standup paper pouch with resealable zip lock which helps to lock-in freshness. All tea has a minimum shelf life of 12-18 months. Our packaging is from a sustainable source and fully recyclable.

We are currently in the process of changing our 100g packaging over to compostable starch lined paper pouches with zip lock which are 100% plastic free and environmentally friendly - all pouches with windows are being phased out and will be fully changed over to plastic-free packaging by mid 2021.

Our large 500g foil packs are vacuum packed and nitrogen flushed for ultimate freshness. Once opened, it will need to be stored in an airtight jar, caddy or container. Alternatively, roll up the bag and clip it closed with a washing peg.

2020 - "A blend of CTC and Orthodox teas, enhanced with flowers. The infusion is thick, brisk and coloury, a sound English Breakfast tea."

2018 - “A bright infusion with good colour contribution from the safflower petals. Good thickness and body, and some decent Assam character comes through.”

2017 - "A brisk, strong breakfast tea that works well with milk. The flowers we felt to be unnecessary, not contributing to the flavour. It's a fresh, quality tea with good thickness."

2015 - "Crisp and bright, with some good astringency."
